Brand Story

Swindon Nigerian Women’s Association (SNWA) was created in August 2018 out of a heartfelt desire for a safe, inclusive, and empowering space where Nigerian women in Swindon can connect, grow, and support one another, from navigating marriage issues, motherhood to feeling isolated. SNWA has since grown into a strong, united network of passionate, purpose-driven women. SNWA, is committed to uplifting voices, celebrating culture, and building lasting impact through unity, service, and collaboration. Every initiative is rooted in love, purpose, and the belief that together, we are stronger. Over the years, SNWA has given back to the local community through organised events reducing isolation, supporting members, providing educative and informative seminars and presentations, both online and in-person. All these help new and old members integrate into the community In 2023, SNWA recorded an election that cemented professional structures within the group, to ensure meticulous leadership. There are 16 committed elected Officers as well as a vetted volunteer, working tirelessly through the year, to serve members and the community. The association continues to evolve.
